Course Map

Located on the Mid North Coast of NSW, less than 3 hours north of Sydney, 2 hours north of Newcastle and 1 hour south of Port Macquarie, Greater Taree encompasses an area of 3,752 sq km and a population of approximately 49,000.  Taree has a picturesque racetrack with quality facilities for patrons where you are assured a great day’s entertainment.

 

Track information

– The track base is covered with a matting of Kikuyu, making the track one of the best wet weather tracks in country NSW.

– The track is 1530m in circumference with a straight length of 350m.

– The track is level with good runs to all turns.

– History shows that winners usually needed to be near the lead on swinging for home however the improvements to the track since early 2013 see horses now regularly winning on all parts of the track and from all positions entering the home straight.
